The simple procedure of my Nb2o5 nanoparticles synthesis is as follows.
The precursor NbCl5 and ethanol is mixed and to this solution P123 is added. then kept in a hot plate (50 deg) for a week. Then calcined at 650 deg for 3 hours. I observed there is a slight lower angle shift (21.6 deg) when compared to the the one synthesised where the calcination temperature is 500 deg (22.7).

Dear Jothi,
lower peak position means increase in lattice plane distance and thus increase in lattice constant(s). But please share your diffractograms to have a closer look onto.
