I am trying to replicate the data from the following article:

In this article they excite plasmon field on a film of gold that is in contact with water. They say, that field distribution of such plasmon looks like on a Fig. 1. (attached to this post, click to expand it).
I want to replicate the result with FDTD method (R-soft), but on a contour map of the H-field (fig. 2, attached to this post), I can see that intense field is only on the "substrate" side of the thin Au film.
So why are those surface fields in my simulation on the wrong side?
Details of my simulation:
grid size 20 times smaller than the thickness of the film (which is 40 nm)
Excitation is just like in the article, 804 nm.
Incidence angle is 68 degrees.
