Working in the field of fabrication of the nano structured thin film for PEC as water splitting or as two terminal solar cell device facing the obvious problem of getting different values of the Jsc from the IPCE and JV characteristics. What should the proper reasoning for that.
The values of Jsc are directly affected by the following factors when design a device as you mentioned:
1. Device structure: layer to layer energy levels or work functions of metal electrodes which is the main factor.
2. The property of each layer: charge transport, optical absorption or other optical effects (scattering, refractive index affecting photons absorption);
3. The device processing conditions: film quality, each layer thickness and treatments including device annealing.

Thanks for answer but my query is that same effects are present either of the case for findings of Jsc so there should be little difference but not the most. so if that happening that means there should be unavoidable reasons which should be projected.
