• Likelihood Occurrence of Risk (LR)
• Fuzzy Logic (FUZZY)
• Bayesian Belief Network (BBN)
• Analytical Neural Network (ANN)

There are also researchers using questionnaire survey for risk assessment purpose. From my point of view, among different approach models, AHP model is more effective, because of its systematic approach to structuring risk assessment problems by providing hierarchical approach. While assessing the project risk at the initial stage of the project, practitioners may not have sufficient data at that time. So it is essential to develop a simple regression model for each project specific task. Moreover, simplicity is a key factor for encouraging professionals to use risk assessment tools in practice.

What I would like to point is about the aproach: the question of GOVERNABILITY about what you will appoint in the search of risks, what is determinated by POLITICS and IDEOLOGY. In a certain way, it afects the decision about the influence area by the project.

Thank you Chee hung Foo for the answer, I have thought about your suggestion and I think it would be a good idea to apply AHP to identify risks that are common to Megaprojects, however, this leads me to another question whether is it possible to generalise the outcomes?

In the context, politics envolve social and economics aspects. Megaprojects expects to impact more severely every environment, and so the antropic. How broadly the study will reach sometimes it is determined by politics aspects. It could result in missing actions to mitigate pressures that in the future will afect the success of the Project. Thats why I suggest  an inicial broadest approach both geographical and time considered, as deep as possible. with a multidisciplinar staff, studying the environment with and without the Project, troughtout the timeline of the megaproject.
