For anything we do not understand in medicine and medical therapy, including acute migraine attacks, we therapists use corticosteroids in the garb of rescue therapy. Why?

Good morning, You are thinking in therapy for acute migraine attacks, it is Ok, but another way is possible: the prevention of migraine, for some people do not eat cheese is a manner to evite migraine the following day.

Exponential and supra-exponential rise in data and analyses and statistical significances has robbed us of our critical thinking skills.
Who will think of migraine -- the discipline, migraineurs -- the sufferers of the pain and its co-morbidities, the pathophysiologic basis???
Certainly not those who publish manuscripts / articles / genealogy / nosology / biochemistry with neurochemicals.
Many issues have waylaid migraine research by serendipity or empiricism or canonical mythology -- starting from cortical spreading depression, serotonin, beta-blockers, biobehavioral model, contingent negative variation, patent foramen ovale closure, botulinum toxin therapy, magnesium, and of course, corticosteroids.
Who will think for migraine -- the forlorn neuro-ophthalmologic autonomic storm?
I leave for future generations, centuries, and millennia, a fundamental immutable Law of Migraine:
"Migraine is the outcome of an occult autonomic storm."

Before my previous commentary I looked for your large experience. Thank for your answer. I ignore the customs of the diet in New Delhi and the consumption of cheeses or not, in Berne Switzerland people eat! I suppose you treat a lot of migraine’s patients. Between them you collect a large questionnaire including diet and possibility of cheese. Later, you can make a study with two groups, at one you will ask “please don’t eat cheese” and the other any change in the diet. After 3 months during a new meeting you investigate if the migraine is the same or not. Perhaps only a 5% of the patients suffer less migraine without cheese, but this minority has right of the information.
To eat or not to eat cheese, how does it affect occurrence of migraine attacks?
Very simple approach.
Forget Delhi or Bern, Switzerland.
Why to eat or not to eat cheese has an effect on migraine, I don't know. But people observe this. First, as scientist you can search if is true or not, and the frecuency, by questionnaires. This research don't need a lot of money. If you also will confirm this effect, you can research the cause. Of course, cheese is not the alone cause, but I repeat if only 5% of people with frequent migraine has less pain when don't eat cheeses (or specific sheeses) have right to know this.
You need to read the following: to understand the protective role of cheese, to begin a long phase of discovery in migraine. Come, join me. Don't get left out.
