My samples are collected in an outcrop that is jointed and folded. (fig 8-11)
When viewed under the microscope:
Plagioclase, olivine and pyroxene occurs as euhedral to subhedral crystals. Iddingsite occur as an alteration along edges and fractures of olivine. Plagioclase crystals are beny. Hornblende occurs as fine-grained (sugary) crystals along interstices of the larger phenocrysts.
