What could be the suitable procedure to prepare a transparent PVA/KOH gel electrolyte?
The optimum concentration of PVA, KOH, water, temperature, and time etc.
I am following the below procedures but unable to get a transparent solution/gel.
1. Initially, 1 g of PVA was added in 25 ml of De-ionized water with continuous stirring for about 4 h at 80 C then 1 g of KOH (dissolved in 25 ml de-ionized water by continuous stirring for 4 h at 80 C) was added and the resulting solution was continuously stirred for many hours at 80 C, but could not get any transparent solution/gel.
2. 1 g of PVA and 1 g of KOH was added in 50 ml of water with continuous stirring for about 15 h at 80 C, but could not get any transparent solution/gel.

Yes, I did the same... I have followed the procedure of many articles but was unable to get a transparent gel.
Maybe there is something important that I am not getting from the papers and experts could help in that, for this reason, I put this question on the researchgate.
