We are aiming to prepare hydrogel/nanoparticle formulations to use for local implant/enjectabl/wound dressing purposes. We got texture analyses results and mechanical property results (F, adhesiveness, cohesiveness,elasticity, compression etc.) Can't get the data results as mentioned from litarature. Which is the healthiest way for comparison or prepare similar gels to prepare? What should we do for finding optimal value ranges for hydrogel formulations?
Hello Furhan, in my opinion, the time-dependent as well as the size-dependent characteristics of these materials are the mechanical properties that must be evaluated. Depending on the size of the requests in your application, the response will vary. Therefore, if you want to compare the mechanical properties of these hydrogels, you must evaluate it against the target tissue/wound and their size stress. Also, varying the crooslinker concentartion aswell the polymer fraction you can change the final response of the material.

Varying the crooslinker concentration you can vary the stiffness of the material but also, the time-dependance behaviour keeping constant the permeability of the gel. Varying the polymer fraction you can vary the permeability and so the time-dependence behaviour.
