Curative therapies remain twofold surgical resection and Liver transplantation. Palliative treatments include ablation therapy with chemoembolization, Radiofrequency ablation or etoh injection. Palliation can also be obtained with Sorafenib an oral form of chemotherapy (tyrosine kinase inhibitor). Many studies underway with combinations above and new agents with similar mechanisms of action to Sorafenib.
