I am using HBV model for simulation of future flows in a river and the only complete data of rainfall and temperature is from 3 stations in catchment. is this ok? and if not which site provides daily temperature and rainfall station data for Southern africa countries?
It depends on the area of the studied catchment, it could be enough if the area is small and there is not big variable in rainfall in the catchment area and the distribution of the three stations is good to cover the area very well.
about more data you can get daily temperature and rainfall from the website of WMO that can help you by providing the data.
My area is 10300km2. I tried to calculate avg rainfall through thiessen poly and coverage was not good. Thanks @Doaa Amin. let me see if I can find additional data on the site
