People claim the XRD measurement of ~ 2-6 nm size quantum dots.
Can anybody explain the method or trick for measuring small size nanoparticle using normal XRD?

My question is in normal XRD sometimes we do not observe any crystalline peaks. However, people use glancing angle XRD or even TEM further.
However, we want to see the relevant intensity peaks of crystalline Si using normal XRD without doing TEM or Raman analysis.
So, is there any trick to see the relevant intensity peaks using XRD (normal XRD)?
If you concerned about size TEM is best. Moreover XRD will give you crystalline size. from both you can compare if your materials is single crystalline.
Actually, how to carry out XRD to observe the relevant intensity peaks? In many occasion these peaks are missed in XRD (just like amorphous).So, is there any careful steps to be taken during XRD measurement?
