I want to find out the capacitance of Graphene oxide.I tried it, by making the liquid solution's of GO and deposited that on between cu sheet and then found some value using Autolab around 3nf.
There is nothing like capacitance of graphene oxide. If graphene oxide is an insulator, you can try to find out its dielectric constant, which is a material property. The capacitance prepared with granphene oxide can be larger or smaller and this purely depends on the geometrical dimensions of the capacitor.
Hence it would be proper to say how can one determine or study the dielectric properties of graphene oxide.
If you can mkae a thin flm of graphene oxide, then please make it on a conducting substrate, put a top electrode of a given area, and measure the capacitance using any LCR meter. Knowing the thickness of the graphene oxide thin film, and measuring the capacitance at a certain frequency you can find out the dielectric constant.
Alternately if you have graphene oxide in powder form, make a ceramic pellet, electrode the pellet on both sides, and try to do the dielectric measurements on a simple LCR meter.
You can measure it easily by forming pellets from GO powder and then use the probe of LCR meter/ digital multi meter to get the capacitance from the pellets.
