Just quickly - for Mo(VI), probably an alkaline solution such as bicarbonate, by analogy with phosphate (P(VI)), and the same likely applies to tungstate. It's likely they would both also be desorbed in the presence of excess orthophosphate.
Generally organophosphoric chelating agent allow extraction of Mo (VI) and W (VI). Also, macrocycle with donor atoms like oxygen, nitrogen and sulfur may be used after reduction to Mo (V) and W(V) using Sn2+ for example in thiocyanate ammonium medium.
