Sulindac Sulfide, a metabolite of Sulindac (sc-202823), is a non-steroidal anti-inflammatory compound that demonstrates inhibition impairs nucleotide exchange and accelerates Ras hydrolysis of GTP.

Sulindac Sulfide has been shown to inhibit growth and induce apoptosis in human prostate cancer cell cultures through a Cox-1 and Cox-2 independent mechanism. Sulindac Sulfide is an inhibitor of NFκB.

Sulindac - drug, nonsteroidal anti-inflammatory drug from the group of acetic acid. It can be used in the treatment of acute and chronic inflammatory processes. The exact mechanism of action is unknown. It was originally developed and launched on the market by Merck & Co. (USA) under the trademark "Clinoril» (Clinoril).
