During my study I very often encounter with this kinds of terms. If anyone kindly make this kinds of terms understandable to me, it will be helpful.
Emergent meaning is -in the process of coming into being or becoming prominent. In ecology it denoting which is taller than the surrounding vegetation, especially a tall tree in a forest, like emergent tower above the top canopy.
While, emergence meaning - the process of becoming visible after being concealed or coming into existence or prominence.
Emergent is a process that is new in environment, like emergent pollutants (vitamins, antibiotics, pesticides, etc), instead emergence that mean a situation a unexpected that may have negative impact on the environment like a storm
Emergent : Every resultant is either a sum or a difference of the co-operant forces; their sum, when their directions are the same -- their difference, when their directions are contrary. Further, every resultant is clearly traceable in its components, because these are homogeneous and commensurable. It is otherwise with emergents, when, instead of adding measurable motion to measurable motion, or things of one kind to other individuals of their kind, there is a co-operation of things of unlike kinds.
Emergence is central in theories of integrative levels and of complex systems. For instance, the phenomenon life as studied in biology is commonly perceived as an emergent property of interacting molecules as studied in chemistry, whose phenomena reflect interactions among elementary particles, modeled in particle physics, that at such higher mass—via substantial conglomeration—exhibit motion as modeled in gravitational physics. Neurobiological phenomena are often presumed to suffice as the underlying basis of psychological phenomena, whereby economic phenomena are in turn presumed to principally emerge.
