Dear Colleagues,

Recently, one of my manuscript has been rejected from Chinese Physics C. The reviewer concluded that the given mass of an alpha particle

m=3727.379MeV/c^2  is wrong in my manuscript. It is very interesting because the referee does not know the difference between mass and mass energy. To satisfy him/her we rewrite the mass energy of the alpha particle

mc^2= 3727.379MeV.

Also we send them the link  from  the national institute of standards and technology as follows:

http://physics.nist.gov/cgi-bin/cuu/Value?malc2mev|search_for=alpha+mass

And after these two revisions, they give their final desicion as follows:

your manuscript does not meet the critical requirement of Chinese Physics C and is advised against publication.

and now please tell me

1) what is the mass of an alpha particle?

Best regards to all.
