As far as know, although Primavera is a more advanced software in comparison to Ms project,but in many cases construction managers still prefer to work with Ms project rather than the later one.

Seen Microsoft Project used hundreds of times. Seen Primavera once and people would just export/import to/frm MSP to update global views. Now with Microsoft Project Server I don't see a need for Primavera unless your old corp standards require it.
