GDPR stands as General Data Protection Regulation, In changing time, I would say post COVID there has been an increase in cross border transactions related to information and currency. Looking into the future World of Information age since year 2000 EU-GDPR should come with guidelines and standards for Open Finance and Banking systems as world is changing from restricted operations to cross border transactions and people connecting online from various geography and diversities to not only make their living but also to help the world make a better place to live. Therefore I believe EU-GDPR shall restrict opportunities for many in non European countries and also for people of European countries.

This can be seen as one of the factor.
