In order to prepare a new sorbent for the extraction of water pollutants, we need to synthesize new compounds of
thiol-functionlized graphene oxide.
We want to know what steps are for activation of functional groups on graphene oxide such as hydroxyl, ether and carboxyl groups.
Are these reactions better and more suitable in alkaline or acidic conditions?
