I want to know how you write a research proposal and particularly it’s introduction because it seems I am not allowed to write an entire introduction with only my ideas.
I presented a workshop last year that should provide some insight into your question. The workshop is entitled “Topic Selection, Literature Search & Research Proposal Guidelines,” which I recorded, and is freely available on YouTube https://youtu.be/A6Gq9s1bPcw
The format of a research proposal may vary depending on the field, but it generally includes a title page, introduction, literature review, research design, reference list, and other sections. When integrating further research into the introduction of your proposal, it is essential to identify the specific problem area and its importance, as well as the prevalence and scope of the problem. You can also review the literature related to the problem area and identify gaps in the existing research that your proposal aims to address. Remember that a research proposal is a persuasive piece of writing, so your introduction should be engaging and make the reader interested in your study.
