When we are publishing different articles from the same project or research as the technical program and materials and methods will be same. So what will be fate of the article if our article is having major plagiarism from our previously published article of the same project.
This is still plagiarsim. You must reduce it to less than 25%.The highter the percentage of plagiarism, the serious the consequences usually. It depends on journal.

But the technical program has to be same along with the treatment groups in biological studies. In case of feeding trials the ingredients and their composition also will be same. Which will show higher similarity index.
I too tried to do so. But is there any provision like relaxation in case from the same author or project.

Self-plagiarism can be best avoided by duly referencing the previously published paper for "Materials and Methods" section rather than elaborating the same in the 2nd paper as well. Regarding composition etc., as seen in nutrition experiments., exactly same data in tables are not allowed; however, in case it's unavoidable, you can consider giving reference of previous paper under footnote. In any case, re-writing and appropriate re-phrasing is recommended while drafting papers emanating from single research or project.

Dear Dr mahesh.
I was waiting for your answer eagerly. I do agree with you bit even though we cite the previous paper it still comes as plagiarism which makes your whole contribution look ordinary and in nutritional composition and plan of study we cant give a detailed self explanatory paper. But as there is no other alternatives we have to re write or even we can give these in supplementary files. Which will make the paper more clear.
