Hello All,
I am looking for a micro converter(DC-DC) or a charge controller which has a MPPT algorithm for controlling the operating point of a PV module in the market. The module that I want to harvest energy from is a 250 W panel which is connected to the battery.
If you have experience of implementing such a MPPT in your practical test objects, please provide me the brand and model of micro converter which you recommend. Morover, please let me know how often does the MPPT algorithm start tracking and how long does it take to find the new MPP?
P.S. what exactly I need to know is available converters in the market.

What do you want response speed for? The solar irradiance changes at the most at 1% per minute, except for shadowing due to cloud movements. Even then, I doubt real change is more than 10% per second, and an inverter with a bandwidth of even a few Hz will manage that. If you are performing an experiment look for ease of use and reprogrammability, If you are using it commercially look for efficiency and cost. Best wishes with your project!
