I study the relation between the amount of sulfur of rubber compounds and the chemical resistance of rubber compounds to prepare rubber compounds using for lining acid contained.
Dear all, vulcalization of rubbers doesn't dépend solely on the curing agent, but also on the other additives mainly the accelerator and the filler. Chemical resistance is more achieved with peroxides as curing agents since -C- bridges are more stable compared to -S- ones. Also sulfur curing is usually accompagnied by other parallel processes.
