Spraying GA3 and BA on the rose have extraordinary effects on the flowering, and I want to do this on chrysanthemum. Does anyone have an experience or article on the effect of these hormones on mum?
The standard procedure of application of GA (potassium gibberillate at 1.5 – 6.0 ppm) is spraying 1- 3 times after transplanting in the field and 21 d after (repeat application). The result is significant extension of flowering stems. GA does not replace short-day treatments neither hastens flowering.
