I recently learned how to produce indirect effects for each specific path in a path analysis model in AMOS, using the user-defined estimand. but it provides only unstandarized effects. my question is if and how I can recieve the standartized effects of each path.

First, run your path analysis model as you normally would in AMOS. After the analysis is complete, review the output. Look for options related to the display of estimates. Miri Cohen, In AMOS, there is an option to request standardized estimates. see the attached file

Run the Path Analysis Model: Make sure you have your path analysis model set up in AMOS with all the necessary paths specified. Compute Standardized Indirect Effects: After running the model and obtaining the unstandardized indirect effects using the user-defined estimand, you can manually compute the standardized indirect effects using the following formula:Standardized Indirect Effect = Unstandardized Indirect Effect * (Standard Deviation of the Indirect Path Variable / Standard Deviation of the Dependent Variable)The Standard Deviation values can usually be found in the output of your path analysis model in AMOS.

To know the beta value for indirect effect, you can multiply the direct path values so to get the standardized indirect effects, multiply the standardized path of A to B and B to C.
