Hello, I use text-to-speech to listen to the playback of my writings. However, I have struggled with some applications like those offered by NetDragon to compose a paper. Please let me know your experiences. Thank you.

It depends on the software and the device. For example, I find speech-to-text easier to use on an actual computer than on a mobile device or tablet. Even punctuations work better on a computer. Either way, you will still need to correct a few words here and there, and punctuate to your satisfaction. In summary, speech-to-text is easy to use but easier on a computer, although you will still need to put in a little effort for great results.
