Hi, I'm recently thinking about the distribution of electric field in a forward biased PN junction, what's confusing me is that the built-in electric field has the opposite direction, which makes the line integral of electric field a negative number, namely the electric potential seems to be negative which contradicts the assumption of forward bias. Why?
