Religion and science are basically two branches of knowledge, and should be considered as such. Any other attitude would be a sheer superstition. Religion teaches us about our inner world, our soul, and science deals with the material world.

Augustine of Hippo is credited for the emergence of science (or natural philosophy) as a discipline separate from religious or theological disciplines. Religion provided the opening to scientific questions at the dawn of human consciousness. The discovery of order in the physical universe was ascribed to a preternatural force (when not just the universe itself = pantheism). Scientific inventions like mathematics and geometry as also astronomy and hydro-engineering were seen as extensions of a divine plan into human experience. People knew that the pyramids were fixed on a solar path and that the river would irrigate the crops -- which is the scientific conclusion of their designs -- but they attributed the results to a spiritual force, often anthropomorphized, rather than to the power in matter itself. There was quite a bit of guessing, of course, and negative results might be seen as divine punishment. But in science there are often more failures to experiments than successes. I would say that religion allows for scientific interventions but lacks the ability to embrace a scientific method. Decartes dealt with this by stating there were two modes of knowing the truth, one religious and the other scientific. Most thinking today echoes this conclusion.

Using the DLS method, the hydrodynamic diameter of nanoparticles can be measured. It gives an average size between the diameter and the length of the cylindrical particles. The internal structure of the particles is not visible. The TEM method accurately measures the size of nanoparticles and determines the internal structure, for example, the size between the planes of atoms.
Dynamic light scattering (DLS) provides info about hydrodynamic size (i.e. harmonic intensity averaged hydrated/solvated particle diameter), mostly greater than the actual size. As it relies on the scattering of light, the shape of particle can't be confirmed from this technique. But, it is beneficial for gaining the preliminary size and dispersity (a single particle is under approximation within one exponential fit to describe a form of dispersion in terms of polydispersity index) analysis of sample.
Whereas, Scanning Electron Microscopy (SEM) dictates info about surface morphology (actual visual size, visual shape, topography) and composition (Energy Dispersive X-ray analysis) of the sample. Field Emission Scanning Electron Microscopy (FESEM), achieving higher resolution of sample. Furthermore, TEM (Transmission Electron Microscopy), HRTEM (High ResolutionTransmission Electron Microscopy) and STEM (Scanning Transmission Electron Microscopy) dictates the morphology (size, internal structure), composition (elemental mapping) and crystallographic info, which is quite exciting and helpful for researchers to explore and understand materials associated to their choice of study.
I agree with the above answers. To oversimplify, DLS would give you the size of the nanoparticle including its surface functional groups and SEM would consider only to the core and not the functional groups. That's why DLS gives higher particle size distribution compared with SEM or TEM.
