Solea solea (Linnaeus, 1758) is the correct taxonomy. Solea vulgaris (Quensel, 1806) is not accepted, according to the World Registry of Marine Species.

They are the samqe thing there is no difference. It is all about nomenclature

The correction was made in 1990. The original name was Pleuronectes solea.
