Fuzzy granulation understands a granule as a clump of attribute-values drawn together by indistinguishability, similarity, proximity, or functionality. For example, age is granulated when its values are described as young, middle-aged and old. I take perception granulation to be a result of the reconstruction of human judgments given by a sequence of rules and perception intervals.
