It might just be a question of semantics but I would appreciate if somebody could help clarify this. Is the difference (only) the fact that overhang dsRNAs have unpaired nucleotides at the end and blunt-ended dsRNAs have completely paired nucleotides? Is it possible to have 5'triphosphate (ppp) and 3'polyA at the ends of an overhang RNA?
