I figured out that when I used hexa meshing in icem the mesh quality is defined by aspect ratio histogram and determinant histogram while the same mesh export in to fluent the aspect ratio is different and if I used tetra mesh and export it same then usually the aspect ratio are quite larger as compare to hexa mesh aspect ratio.
Why does this happen?
Is there any chances in aspect ratio then the accuracy of solution will affect?
Out of hexa and tetra which one are more sensitive with aspect ratio?
Simple search on google regarding parameters for mesh quality will help. Mesh skewness is more important to be controlled as it affects both the convergence and the result. Some times keeping a low aspect ratio is not possible in the case of boundary layer cells , example airfoil with the endwalls. As far as possible stick to hexa-hedral cells rather than tetrahedral
