In the learning process emerged a number of schools of learning and the most famous behavioral school and the school of police learning and the school of learning by foresight
Having commanded a police academy before and currently being a university professor, there are certain similarities and many differences in the two types of learning. The police academy is charged with developing qualified rookie police officers. While there are many academic subjects involved, there are also certain physical, mental and mechanical skills that a competency must be demonstrated in for the student to successfully graduate. The curriculum is mandated by the state as are the specific competencies that must be demonstrated by the student. These are measured by state mandated exams and standards in order to get your license as a police officer. In a university setting, the student has some choice in their classes (an academy student does not). While a student is required to demonstrate academic competency in their given course of study, they generally only have to satisfy the requirements of their professor rather than a standardized state mandated test. (However, in some professions: i.e. medical or legal there may be mandated state or guild exams). The university curriculum is more open and less rigid than the academy. These are just a few examples.
In my opinion commonalities of both schools are: existence of academic system (like class attendance, class work, homework, sessional tests, case studies discussion, group / independent studies, presentations, class schedule, exam schedule, class duration, teaching week, exam weeks, result preparation, result announcement, reward, convocation ceremony, etc)
However, the differences are: on the basis of the content of subjects, the assignment tasks, teaching methodology, and internship places.
I think in Policing the entrepreneurship is not permitted by the state or law ministry, however, a graduate from behavioural school may start his/her career as an entrepreneur.
I agree with Dr. Jahangir. Policing learning schools follow very strict guidelines with a lot of physical fitness practical training while behavioral schools usually appeals to the attitudes of learners. It allows flexibility for learners to choose array of options. Best regards
In addition to Dr. Jahangir Khan, I think that the behavioral school aims to regulate the life and behavior of the individual and deal with them individually, while the school oflearning police towards community service and deal with it collectively.
I am agree with the answers added by dr. Jahangir Khan and dr. Isam Issa Omran .. they discuss the differences of the 2 schools in clear way ,, Best regards ,, Jawad Ali
In my opinion, sending your child to a behavioral school may be a difficult decision. But for parents of children with some behavioral problems, it is often the only solution.
