A number of schools are using violence and beating a child
Only as a last resort, if it is going to make things better. It should not be a habit.
It depends upon the culture of the family the way of their education & the social standing . The said place an important part offering the environment & training for the children covering the requisite atmosphere . It is such situation that in certain cases the child may be experienced of hitting from mother .
In quite good cases for parents to them the children are not only for loving care but they are an asset for the parents .
This is my personal opinion
It has become habit of some parents/teachers to use cane or apply capital punishment to correct their children/wards. Though some cultures permit the method and some children need it need to put them in order but when it became habit then they tend to form resistant against the method. However, I stand against the use of cane or capital punishment because it causes more harm than good.
As I psychologist, I am against hitting a child in primary school.
1) Agression often leads to agression, that is, to retaliation or negative reciprocation.
2) Agression often leads to what it not intended to lead,
3) To hit a child is immoral from an ethical point of view.

I am totally against the hitting of children in primary school. However, unfortunately, even today, it is happening in many schools.
