Anyone know of any study that already this term is defined as "the use of software in function more efficiently manage an institution" ... or some other use of the term.
The term is rather linear. In fact if you conduct a search on ACM, you will not find any entries in any of their categories of journal. It is a very general term that identifies a software solution to management technology, that's it. I don't think there are technical distinctions, it is a case of semantics. Technology (what kind), management (of what), software (Cloud/Client-Server/WPF/Winform/Linux?). So you need to define attributes further.
