The difference in the deposition rates in sprayed thin films between different precursors in highly dependent on their decomposition temperatures, and residence time on the substrate. How do I get the details of the decomposition temperatures and molecule sizes of the different precursor salts am using?

Thermo-gravimetric analysis (TGA) would answer your decomposition question. It will also give you an idea as to the pathway in which the chemical decomposes. If its a stock chemical then the TGA data should be widely available on the internet.

Thanks Nicholas. Unfortunately I cannot find the TGA data for these compounds on the internet. I don't know if anyone did it.
