In germany, relief and aid organisations (such as St.Johns cross, german red cross, etc.) offer emergency medical care "on the field" for events such as concerts, public or private festivities etc.
Normally, these services are contracted on a private basis between event organizers and organisation, often based on requirements of security imposed by the fire department. The personell are mainly volunteers, with a wide range of qualifications spanning from emergency physicians, paramedics to first aid courses.
The german term for these kind of services "Sanitätsdienst" or "Sanitätswachdienst"
(Literal translation: "Sanitary service"(Internet translation) or "ambulance service")

Medical care produced at these events are typically referred to as “mass gathering medical care”. Although many of these events have paid medical personnel/professionals, many are also staffed by unpaid volunteers or a combination of both paid and volunteer.
The English terminology could read “unpaid volunteers including EMT(Rettungssanitäter), paramedic (Notfallsanitäter), flight paramedics, nurses, and physicians provided mass gathering medical care at an annual outdoor music concert for the past ten years”. Hope that helps.

I think a first responder is a class of emergency personnel fireman, paramedic and police which wouldn't include a doctor. St John's has volunteer qualifications which qualify you as an event doctor, event paramedic or event nurse which seems very appropriate nomenclature to me.
I would translate "doctor in the field" as ""standby doctor"

I don't know if this will help answer your question, but in most U.S. states volunteers must been trained and licensed to provide emergency medical services including at events. Because EMS licenses are issued by the various states, requirements differ but based on the National Registry for Emergency Medical Technicians the lowest level of license is Emergency Medical Responder. The training curriculum is based on a national standard curriculum published by the National Highway Traffic Safety Administration. As James indicated, all levels of license and service fall under the broad heading of Emergency Medical Services.

@Alessandro Campione Just to clarify "event doctor" refers to a volunteer doctor at a gathering of some sort. I am not sure there is a direct translation - "Doctor on site" or "on-site doctor" would translate to "Arzt vor Ort".

What term would you suggest for the same service you described in a non-mass scenario? (e.g. private event with

If those volunteers are not medical personnel but they have first aid or Basic Life Support Training, they can be called Good Samaritan.
Careful. You should not mix the activity with the type of contract.
You can have doctors, nurses or technicians or first responders with a salary or volunteers.
These categories are usually included as "first aid service".
In this case, you could clarify "First aid service provided by volunteers" or Medical service (understood as professional) and the collaboration of volunteer first responders.
