This is non-science related - I currently have some published journal articles which just sit as electronic PDF files in my computer, but I would love to print them and keep it in the house as a memoir of my research (I am no longer working in academia).
I want to learn how other people store their published articles- Did you buy the physical copy of the journal? If you printed them, which form would you recommend?
I would love to get tips from everyone :)
As a person who always respect traditional values, I also prefer to keep a hardcopy in a personal library, but maintaining them dust-free and shifting them while we change living place; all that makes it a mere dream now a days. In the current digital world it's safer and practical for us to keep its soft copy. Also, if we are publishing in indexed journals, our paper will be safe in cloud I believe.
I have a separate shelf for hard copies, if I get any at all. Otherwise I store them digitally in a folder.
Digital, since many journals are online only. In a folder on my computer desktop and flash drive :)
