What is the best way to preserve DNA extracted from FFPE tissues? How long can it be preserved at -20˚C?

DNA at the time of extraction shows good OD (260/280 as well as 260/230). Real time PCR results with tissue DNA are inconsistent in an established protocol with DNA extracted from blood samples. what could be done to troubleshoot?
