I am conducting an experiment which requires exclusion of lipids or free fatty acids that are available in the serum. What would be the best deprivation condition in this case?

If you want to try it yourself you may want to use a more specific lipid removal agent

None of agents are 100% specific or 100% effective. You will probably need to run something like GC/MS to verify the actual lipid content

Low lipid and de-lipidated serum are available, although hard to find. These also might be an option. Best of luck!
