The protocol im currently following suggests that the slides with the tissue section should be left for a minimum of 6-8 hours in the oven at 60 degrees. My issue is with the adherance of the tissue onto the slide. Parts of my tissue section always fail to properly adhere and the staining shows alot of artifacts due to regions of the tissue overlapping each other (due to improper adherance).
