I have not tried this. You could try baiting the wasps with  putrid meet which should not attract the bees; the meat and/or the resulting maggots should attract the wasps (in N. America yellow jackets are nominally carnivorous). If successful, use the bait in traps over soapy water or insecticide solution. You should try to discover what happened to the usual food source of the wasps.

In Europe, Vespa vulgaris will only be a problem for a weak hive. Traps can be easily made from plastic bottles and baited with fish or meat. ( http://www.wikihow.com/Make-a-Wasp-Trap ) There is some controversy about the use of these traps, they attract the wasps and may make matters worse. I think it is important to discover why this change has occurred.

Agree with William, a strong hive is a best defence against wasps.

First of all let me thank you people for you attention and answers. In fact even the stronge hives are getting attacked by this yellow jacket wasp. I found a nest in old house , that has a size 0.5 X 0.75 cm. I belive you can imagine the number of wasps in that nest.

I'm afraid that in view of the strength of the attacks you will have to destroy the nest. CO2 is probably the safest method and should be used at night to be sure that all the wasps are present.

As for my Greek language, first I visited Greece several times since the year 1998 till 2011.

In the year 2002 I got the IKY SCHOLARSHIP FOR DOING MY PHD AUTH. THESSALONIKI. THERE I got 9 months course of greek language, but my supervisior informed me that I have to have 15000 euros for my research. I requested here to give me a chance of doing my field work at home but she refused my proposal, then I left to PATRA university, and there I didnt told them the previous story as per the IKY suggestion, then being back to home the IKY themself informed my new prof about my previous truble in Thessaloniki. HE WAS UPSET and he told me that he has no money for research. then I return back with finacial loses around 5000 euros due to the mode of both supervisors.
