You must be systematic and creative in conducting meta analysis. Thus, the best way to conduct it is by carryout critical review of previous studies on a particular issue.
Do a thorough literature review, decide on objectives criteria for including studies, calculate the effect sizes, do the meta-analysis, document it, Write it up, analyze and conclude.

You have to do extensive literature search with your pre-set keywords based on your objectives. Select the study that fullfull your set criteria, collect relevant data, and perform meta-analysis using any software that have meta-analysis option. I do it using R and use different package's based on model selected and data types. A little google search will provide you heaps of info and some give you step by step description. Good luck with your meta-analysis.

To conduct meta analyses, several steps and analyses have to be performed as well as what types of questions to be investigated. Then you have to go for analysis for instance, STATA, Covidence, R package etc. However, in this issue, plethora of research articles have published previously. Best.
