The crop diseases are often an important crop performance obstacle. Its impact can be particularly severe when the crop has high economic importance and therefore the development of reliable prediction systems is of utmost importance. Geographic information systems (GIS) are important tools that can be applied in the prediction, monitoring and control of diseases. Through these systems can be correlated meteorological parameters to predict the occurrence of a pest and thereby predicting the risk of the same. Can also be described dispersal patterns and thus consider the decision making for the management of a pest.
