on PK blood sampling--what time should be collected for a PK sample time point: example if i have a scheduled blood draw for 08:01, the needle is introduced at 08:01 and i get the first flash of blood coming out at 08:01 but as the tube is being filled, the blood flow slows down and the procedure extends its self into 08:02--now what time should be documented and written into the source documents? 08:01 or 08:02? From a PK perspective what is the correct time to note in source documents?

Severe systemic manifestation of trauma and ischaemia involving soft tissues, principally skeletal muscle, due to prolonged severe crushing. It leads to increased permeability of the cell membrane and to the release of potassium, enzymes, and myoglobin from within cells. Ischaemic renal dysfunction secondary to hypotension and diminished renal perfusion results in acute tubular necrosis and uraemia. Concentration of myoglobin increases within 1hr of injury, it is very sensitive and its half life is only 10 mins. It is cleared by kidney rapidly and substantially reduced within 10-12 hrs. It attain its original concentration within 24-48 hrs.
