My project is looking at immune function in wild fish from different sites. We have data on many potential predictors both categorical (ie site, sex, season) and continuous (ie age, parasite prevalence, macrophage aggregate prevalence). I want to see if any of these are significant predictors for mitogenesis responses. I'm not a stats expert by any means, but I ran ANCOVA and got some findings. I'm just wondering if there would be other methods that might be better? I'm using R. Any help is appreciated! TIA
