Hello there,
I am looking for the best analysis to be used in comparing a bunch of different environmental parameters such as rainfall, humidity, wind speed, temperature, light intensity and so on towards the beetles catches in sampling site for a year study. I had done multiple linear regression (MLR) for the study, but still searching for other better analysis if there is.

The statistic method depends on what you already have in your dataset. For instance, if you have averages of all the parameters that you mentioned, I would recomend you to use ANOVA (Analysis of Variance) to compare means. However, if you don´t, I would say that descriptive statistics would be the best to you form an idea about your dataset.
Anyway, I can say that DENNIS J. SWEENEY / THOMAS A. WILLIAMS / DAVID R. ANDERSON have written a good Statistics book that I strongly recommend.

I agree with Aurelio. The usual statistical tool for making comparisons is ANOVA.
