What is the best way to do a statistical analysis for testing the significance between different age groups? The data is about the proportions of mIPSCs over total miniature currents (inhibitory and excitatory) during development. I have six age groups (P3 to P18, equal interval). I was told multiple t-test is not a good idea. At the moment, I'm doing one-way ANOVA with means comparisons using Origin Pro 8.2. Any suggestions/comments would be appreciated.
