I want to remove PDMS oligomers from the surface of nanolayers. I have just read a very helpful paper about the compatibility of PDMS with different solvents( Article Solvent Compatibility of Poly(Dimethylsiloxane)-Based Microf...
)and realized that hexane( pentane and heptane) and diisopropylamine(other amine containing solvents) have the best solubility with PDMS. The problem is which one is the best for my purpose and how much time is necessary for PDMS removal?

You can use a solution of tetrabutylammonium fluoride (TBAF) in N-Methylpyrrolidinone (NMP) (3:1 v/v; NMP/75% TBAF in water). Please check the following document.

The swelling ratio is roughly inversely related to the solubility parameter of the solvent. Diisopropylamine swells PDMS to the greatest extent; solvents such as chloroform, ether, and THF swell the material to a large extent. Solvents such as acetone, 1-propanol, and pyridine swell the material to a small extent.
