I am planning to generate a throughout assessment of a small town, but I am hesitating in how to do it properly, my focus analysis is based on energy consumption (electricity, thermal, and transport). Even though I tend to chose MatLab as first option, I would like to gather all of the valuable opinion/experience you had former had using softwares to this matter, such as MatLab&Simulink, Homer, Energy Plan, etc. Do you mind sharing your point of view in this topic?
